We appreciate the installation of the digital speed monitor on this street, but unfortunately the effect has worn off. I also definitely seeing an increase of speeding vehicles through here, some almost trying to see how high they can get the reading by driving by it multiple times upwards of 60-70+ MPH. With the warmer weather and more people walking in the neighborhood, it's just so dangerous.
Any plans for something more effective, such as a photo enforced traffic camera?

Please see photos for park equipment damage. Looks like a bullet hole in one of the metal poles, which is completely frightening and a broken slide.

Thank you for installing digital speed monitor last year. It seems that the initial effect has worn off as people have continued to speed upwards of 50+ mph on 42nd Avenue South.

Can the city offer any other options? The raised speed lines on S 124th don't seem to slow people down and are extremely loud when driven over.

With the warmer weather approaching, it will only get worse.

Is there a possibility of the city to install a sound barrier that would shield the Duwamish neighborhood along S Interurban from the highway noise?
It seems it would also be a preventative safety measure from stopping a possible out of control vehicle from plowing down onto the street & walk/bike trail parallel.

Port-a-Potty is in desperate need of attention. The parking lot smells of urine. A lot of neighborhood kids frequent this park and it seems to be a bit neglected. We are constantly picking up trash, etc and people use the parking lot to stop and smoke and drink. Is it possible to get a little more City or Police presence around the area?

This is an extremely dangerous intersection with a blind corner where people are trying to turn into traffic from the 599 offramp on to S 116th.
Is there something the city can do to help this situation?
