Sofa dumped along Bay Trail behind Encinal Yacht Club, 1251 Pacific Marina.

The pedestrian signal button on the southeast corner of the intersection of Park Avenue and Encinal Avenue is not working; the button on the opposite (northeast) side does work, as do the lights themselves.

Until a sidewalk can be installed to fill this gap between the sidewalk leading up to the veterans' memorial and the shoreline path, the street should at least be painted to reserve the area by the curb for pedestrian access. The street seems wide enough to do this and still allow for parking on both sides.

The crossing lights on the east side of Encinal Ave. and Park Ave. still do not work…have they been forgotten?

There needs to be a sign at the intersection of Clement and Stanton informing westbound pedestrians on the northern sidewalk of Clement that they must cross to the south side of Clement to continue west; the sidewalk here appears to continue west but actually dead-ends at the fence visible in the distance.

The RIGHT LANE ENDS sign at Bayview and Broadway is left over from the old four-lane configuration of the street (before addition of the dedicated bike lanes) and should be removed.

The activation button on the northwest corner of Broadway and San Jose Ave. was not working at about 2 PM today; when I returned at about 3 PM I found that the button on the southeast corner did work.

I saw this large limb fall off the tree at the intersection of Park Avenue and Encinal Avenue just now; it is partially blocking the sidewalk and bus stop. It fell without being touched by anything, and there was only a gentle breeze at the time. .

The pedestrian crossing signs at the new marked crosswalk north of the intersection of Eagle Ave. and Sherman St. are both only visible to southbound traffic; there are no signs visible to traffic northbound on Sherman, as shown in the photo.

The pedestrian crossing and “sidewalk closed, cross here” road signs on the east side of the intersection of Sherman St. and Eagle Ave. are now facing backwards (they were fine yesterday evening): as a result, there are two pedestrian crossing signs for traffic southbound on Sherman and none for northbound traffic, and the “sidewalk closed” sign is not visible to approaching pedestrians.

I am submitting the California Public Records Act request described above because there has been no apparent progress toward resolution of SeeClickFix Issue ID 4083314 since it was reported on January 31, 2018, despite the facts that an immediate safety concern exists and that the fix is simply the replacement of a single temporary sign that was originally present.

The “yield to pedestrians” paddle is missing from the marked crosswalk.

The pedestrian crossing sign on the northwest corner of Sherman and Eagle has been missing for at least two days. The sign on the southeast corner is still there.

The two “yield to pedestrians” paddles on Broadway at San Jose Ave. are still missing, as shown in the attached photo taken January 1, 2018.

I originally reported this problem on October 28, 2017, as Issue ID 3826988:

The issue was closed on October 30, despite the fact that it was not resolved.

I realize that CalTrans, not the City of Alameda, is responsible for the maintenance of this intersection, but my question (posted in the comments on Issue ID 3826988 on November 4) about the correct way to report these issues was never answered.
