    I would like to have an update on this issue that I posted here several weeks ago, which was then closed prematurely by the 'Administrator' before being resolved.

    This bank owned property has been left in deplorable, dilapidated, and DANGEROUS conditions for several years, and it's becoming worse every day. The weeds and trash in the yard are a hazard, especially when children from the nearby park chase balls into the yard.

    The surrounding taxpaying homeowners are fed up with this neighborhood eyesore. Please assure us it will be cleaned up as soon as possible.Thank You!

    I’ll get right to it, the property at 628 Walnut Street Coatesville is a disgusting DUMP! Foreclosed, bank owned property, left to deteriorate over several years. Weeds and brush as high as your shoulders. Mice, snakes, skunks, stray cats, drug bags, needles, not to mention a landing zone for junkies and prostitution at all hours of the day and night in the alley behind the property due to the cover the high weeds provide, (ask the CV Police Dept. how many calls and arrests they’ve had here). This property also sits right next to Swing Park, where kids play every day. They run into this yard constantly to retrieve lost basketballs, etc. Safe? NO.

    The bank sent a crew out once last summer to clean up the yard. ONCE. So, here we are in July 2017, and it hasn’t been touched yet this season.

    Is anyone in our city government watching? Does anyone care?? Please prove to the dedicated, tax-paying homeowners that you do. There aren’t many of us life-long residents left in this town, and when you force us to live next to places like this, it’s no mystery why we continue to leave in droves. We keep hearing about redevelopment, but can you PLEASE just clean up the town first, starting with dilapidated properties like this?! Thank you for your time.
