    Birnbaum Realty has posted a for sale sign in City ROW on northwest corner of Antiqua Way and Glen Cove Parkway in violation of City ordinance.

    As it's getting to be prime time for new listings here in Glen Cove, this is an excellent opportunity to remind all the realty firms that posting of signs in the public right of way is verboten.

    Otherwise we're going to look like decay central. To say nothing of the illegal and dangerous parking on the streets that usually accompanies the placement of these signs.

    A simple phone call to Birnbaum in this case and the Solano County Board of Realtors from a City official could go a long way in avoiding these incidents.

    City planning tells us that the City would never top a tree; that is improper pruning and destructive to the tree.

    So, who made a hat rack out of the beautiful trees in the City ROW on the northwest corner of Glen Cove Parkway and Mistral Way?

    What is going to be done about this?

    The damage to the trees is irreversible. They'll grow crazy branches with weak joints now and be a liability.

    Southbound Rollingwood roadway sensors don't work consistently. Signals cycle for Georgia in both directions and Rollingwood northbound but miss southbound Rollingwood for several cycles. This results in people dangerously running SB red light while Georgia or NB Rollingwood left turn signals are green. This has been a problem for several months.
