Automobile and motorcycle traffic regularly flows into Dimond Park, especially in the evenings. This is because entrance into Dimond Park is not maintained. It is a combination of the entrances lacking barriers and the entrances with barriers aren't regularly closed. The result is a large number of motorized vehicles entering the park and blasting window-shaking music throughout the night. We have called the non-emergency police number multiple night time to halt these parties, and often they do respond. But that hasn't stopped the next party from happening. I would like the Parks department to see what they can do to make a permanent solution.

The homeless encampment on Sausal Creek near the Dimond Park Playground has not gone away. The encampment itself is on creek bank  on property shared by the City and also private property (3954 and 3952 Canon). Refuse continues to pile up and we do not understand why there is nothing to be done. At the very least it seems appropriate to clear out the trash. Just because a homeless person can't be moved according to your regulations, does that mean that the delicate ecosystem of the creek is to be endangered by trash that *might* be  theirs? Would it be removed were it to have been left behind by children in the playground?  The city spent a lot of time and money on the creek restoration, and I just don't understand why the city would not want to protect its investment and that habitat, simply because the trash might have been left behind by homeless people.

Cars, trucks, SUVs, and motorcycles are driving into Dimond Park, parking in grassy areas and playing music loudly night and day, and riding motorcycles throughout the park, and setting off fireworks. Owing to poorly managed gates, signage that fails to make clear that these things are illegal, and a lack of police enforcement of regulations, Dimond Park is becoming a party destination.

There is a missing barrier between the play area and the steep slope of Sausal Creek. Children and adults are climbing down into the creek and back up, endangering themselves, destroying landscaping, eroding the shoreline, and endangering the fish in the creek. Something simple--a low rope fence as we see elsewhere on that side of the creek--would probably do the trick!

White plastic drainage pipe that goes from Dimond Park and flows into Sausal Creek is gathering graffiti. This pipe was supposed to be undergrounded after park rehabilitation and is now an eyesore.
