    This is a general question about the horribly deteriorating Nixon Road from M14 to the Huron Parkway roundabout. Almost 10 years ago the Toll Brothers project began to be planned and eventually the roundabout at Green/Nixon/Dhu Varen was created. This was the best decision for the area. Thanks to TB for contributing to this project. Now that the North Oaks project is almost complete, it's time to address the condition of Nixon Road in all segments above and below the roundabout. When will the project to address the surface deterioration begin? The excuse to not address this in the past was because of the heavy equipment traveling on this road. Now that this and numerous other developments have significantly increased the traffic (another issue for crosswalk signals needed in this area) on Nixon, we need this addressed. And some traffic calming would help too since there is still constant speeding up and down Nixon from the roundabout south of Traver / Clague. Thanks for keeping this prioritized for our neighborhood. Final comment- In this area we all remember the work done for multiple roundabouts in the Nixon corridor. We know this is a very long process / project, but for now a surface (scrape and resurface) project would be a good solution until something more significant can be scoped and done before the end of the decade.

    The street light is out on the post just east of the crosswalk closest to the Whisperwood Drive entrance to North Star apartments. The post is not labeled with a number. Many of these on Green are no longer labeled.

    There are now at least four street lights out between Bluett and Traver Blvd. One is at the Clague cross walk. The others are along Nixon. It is very dark. Also, Traver west of Nixon is dark too. Not sure how many lights are out there too.

    The two newly installed crosswalk LED street lights are in place but not turned on. This is at the corner of green and Gettysburg. Looks like they are ready for use but not sure why they are not operating. It’s a bit dark at this intersection. Please turn on these lights. This is for TWO lights

    Thank you but it has now been 11 days since the acknowledgement of this urgent issue. The approaches to the roundabout are all VERY dark at night. I saw several near misses as the dark corner is very unsafe for vehicles and pedestrians. It is impossible to see someone crossing the road or walking. The only illumination on this corner is the apartment community sign on the NE corner of the roundabout. Do we have an ETA when the power in this area will be fixed and the lights will be back on?

    Numerous streetlights are out (again) along Nixon Rd between Traver Blvd and Bluett- both sides of the street. This also includes one of the very bright lights that illuminates the cross-walk from Clague school across Nixon (near Traver Blvd). All have been out for weeks.

    The street lights on two black light posts on Commonwealth are out. These are on the south side of Commonwealth and located closest to Green Road.

    All lights on the black vertical posts with the newer LED fixtures leading in to the roundabout are out. This is in addition to the posts not yet replaced. It is very dark at this roundabout and also borderline unsafe for anyone walking. The street lights (old generation) on eastbound green are working. It’s like someone disconnected all roundabout lighting. Affects approaches from all directions.

    This may be a duplicate request but there is an additional issue shown in this picture The streetlight and pole on the NE corner of the roundabout is STILL not fixed It has been months This is a standard light pole you are using all throughout the city Why has this taken so long? And with now the light post and light needing replacement on the NW corner of the roundabout, what is the estimated time for this to be repaired / replaced Very frustrating as this roundabout is now much darker with the absence of TWO lights Please help

    Street and bright cross walk lights are ALL off from Bluett to Traver. It is very dark in this stretch. The fact that cars speed day and night makes this dark stretch of road even more unsafe. The bright lighting in the cross walk is appreciated. Please get these back on so this area is well lit and safe again

    Three or more street lights out in this area for a very long time. Finally reporting. Very unsafe in the dark and since the sidewalks have not been cleared or treated it is very slippery slushy and perfect for a fall. Please address. Either all lights are out or the circuit to this part of the road needs attention
