    Is it possible for the City to post "No Parking" signs on one side of the street at the intersection of Johnson & 143rd Street? Both schools are about to begin and the people on the north west corner of Johnson park several of their 10 cars along Johnson on the southbound side which chokes down the intersection. Drop off and pick up at St. Casimir is a nightmare and then throw in Lincoln schools traffic! Also, the people that live at the south east corner of Johnson (facing 143rd) have their company vehicles parked as close to the corner making it impossible to see approaching traffic going north. Is it possible to have someone do a study at this intersection in the morning and dismissal (3:00-3:30)? To throw one more house into the mix, the house behind the southeast side house, they have a lawn service. They are parking their lawn service trucks where they can stick them. Why should they be allowed to park their business vehicles in front of the house and taking up neighbors parking? I would hate for someone to get hit.

    The old Hammond Housing Police building at 173rd and White Oak is in need of a major cleanup! There are weeds 3+ feet tall, trash strewn everywhere and not to mention two broken down squad cars on flats. Also, three large jugs of motor oil sitting by the white fence. I would think this to be an environmental issue. There was a request opened a couple of months ago regarding the same issue of unsightly property. Told at the time that the crew that mowed the front of building doesn't take care of the back. Please send maintenance crew to clean up.

    Birch Place/Birch Avenue/172nd Place hasn't seen a plow since Saturday. There was some amateur with a snow plow on his truck thinking he was making a difference and actually made it worse. At the end of the street where Birch Place turns into Birch Avenue he piled the snow and its difficult to round the sharp corner. Especially when the neighbor at the turn parks their care in front of the house. Emergency vehicles would NEVER be able to make it around the corner if need be. Would you be able to send a plow out to fix this? thanks!

    there is a sink hole that's located in front of 4518 Torrence Ave. It appears that they've attempted to fill it but it's gonna take more than some asphalt to fix the problem. you might want to take a look at this one before you start getting calls from people asking the city to fix their vehicle.
