    There’s a curb cut and crosswalk for those crossing W. Howard Avenue at Commerce Drive, but there’s no pedestrian signal. This is an access point to the busy Stone Mountain Trail. Someone is going to get hurt here if this isn’t fixed immediately. There’s no way for pedestrians and cyclists to know if the light is about to turn green for traffic on Howard.

    The sidewalk on the north side of Dekalb Avenue between Ridgecrest Rd and the railroad crossing is obstructed by vegetation. Illegal dumping has also been taking place along this sidewalk adjacent to the railroad crossing. Please clear the sidewalk and garbage.

    97-99 Adair St Decatur, GA 30030, USA - Decatur
    The crosswalk for the Stone Mountain Trail is routinely blocked by cars. The stop line for southbound traffic isn't well-marked. This is creating a hazardous condition for pedestrians and people who bike.

    A large pine limb is blocking the east-side sidewalk near 487 Lakeshore Drive.

    The sidewalk along the north side of McLendon Ave NE between Lakeshore and Howard Circle NE has been destroyed by tree roots and erosion. It is unusable after dark due to poor lighting and noncompliant with ADA guidelines at all times.

    A design flaw allows drivers to go through the roundabout without slowing down. This results in conflicts with vehicles already in the roundabout who have the right-of-way. Pedestrians in crosswalks at this intersection are also endangered by constant violations of Georgia state law requiring motorists to stop for those using crosswalks.
    The most practical solutions are:
    1. Reengineer the vertices of the intersection so that motorists must slow down to safely enter the roundabout.
    2. Replace the yield signs with stop signs.
    Increased enforcement will not help in the long run due to the poor design of the roundabout as it currently exists.

    The streetlights are not working on I-20 between I-75/85 and Moreland Avenue. The road is very dark during the latter part of the evening rush hour. This creates a dangerous condition for drivers, which poses a legal liability for the City of Atlanta and GDOT in the event of a serious crash.

    The bikeway on N McDonough Street in downtown Decatur is being used by contractors for parking, even though their work is unrelated to the bikeway, itself. People who bike are forced into busy vehicle lanes as a direct result of this practice. To make matters worse, this blocked bikeway is adjacent to a school.
    If a child on a bike gets hit by a car because they couldn't stay in the bikeway due to a parked contractor vehicle, both that contractor and the city could be held liable for negligence.
    Clear this bikeway!

    Red lights are being disregarded. Multiple crashes with injuries have resulted over the past few months. Why has nothing been done?

    Leaves are blocking the westbound bike lane on McLendon Ave NE just east of the Lakeshore Drive intersection.
  • 2126 Ponce De Leon Ave Ne Atlanta, GA 30307, USA - Druid Hills
    Cars attempting to turn into/out of Ridgecrest Rd NE at Ponce de Leon Ave must dodge high-speed traffic on Ponce de Leon. To make matters worse, intersection is on a blind curve on Ponce.
    There's also no safe pedestrian crossing either here or for several blocks. A traffic light should be installed, especially if there have been several crashes here.
    Ponce de Leon Ave should not be treated as an expressway for commuters cutting through Decatur and east Atlanta from outlying suburbs. It is supposed to be a park.

    There's no crosswalk across Dekalb Ave for several blocks in either direction. Nor is there an ADA-compliant curb cut for accessing the Stone Mountain Trail.

    The sidewalk on the south side of Howard has been blocked by a fallen tree for months. Is it really that difficult to remove?

    A fallen tree has been blocking this sidewalk for months. I reported it to the City of Decatur, but this sidewalk may be just inside the Atlanta city limits. Someone needs to take ownership of this problem.
