This sign was blown down during the storm. It is located at the corner of 2nd street and Greene Street. The stump is broken off and sticks out creating a hazard for pedestrians. Someone could be badly hurt.

All bollards are now gone at the corner of 2nd street and Washington.

When will the City replace the fallen down bollards? Can City work resume? There are several missing bollards at the corner of 2nd st and Washington and, now, 2 more at the entrance of Avalon. The glue just isn't holding up.

Wots is not working. It asks for a phone number then tells you it sent a code for validation. The code never arrives. Tried at least 10 times on two different days. What's wrong?

This sign was blown over by the wind. The stump is sticking out of the sidewalk and, if someone trips on it, a person could be injured and fall.

Another flexible bollard has com unglued. That makes 6 for that intersection of 2nd street and Washington Blvd. It’s a protected pedestrian section but now cars can drive through to make illegal right hand turns. It’s a hazard for pedestrians and bikers. Can the separators be attached better instead of glue?

The driving of Pylons is driving residents crazy. It's not fair to allow that kind of work when people are quarantined at home, trying to work or take care of children. It disrupts life completely. This is a mental health issue. Have the Mayor stop this work immediately. Have some empathy for the residents around this location.

Bollards keep falling. How are they attached?
  • 64-98 2nd St Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - The Waterfront
For some reason, the City did not secure these bollards. They were just placed there. When it's windy or when a car touches them, they fall over. Any reason why these weren't secured? Every morning, I replace them in the proper location.

I reported months ago a number of dead trees along Greene Street and Washington Blvd. Is the City responsible for replanting.
Also, those metal grates around the trees are girdling and killing the trees. They are a hazard for pedestrians as well because they are not even with the sidewalks.

When will traffic finish protecting the bike lane along Washington Blvd? Is it going to get done at all? Is traffic hoping we will forget to ask?

The front piece fell on and the wires are exposed.

Do you know when the City will finish installing the bollards to protect the bike lane on the southbound side? The City didn't do it last summer and, now that the street as been repaved and reconfigured to have bike lanes on both sides it's time to finish the job. Cars always park on the bike lane and I've seen cyclists having to swerve into traffic to bypass the cars. The bike lane needs to be protected.

A car ran over and ripped the bollard by the bike lane at the intersection of Washington and 2nd street. Cars use the new beige area on 2nd street to make right turns on red. Then they collide with the bollards. It needs to be repaired.

There are 5 street lights out on 2nd street. Two are out in front of Candlewood suites, one is across the street at the corner of 2nd street and the entrance to the Mandalay. Across the street, again, at the corner of Hudson and 2nd street there are 2 street lights out right in front of the parking. No, I don't have pole numbers.
On the Boardwalk by the passageway to Crystal Point there are also pole lights out. It's getting awfully dark and perhaps unsafe.

Someone removed the sign but left the metal stump. It’s a hazard. Some could trip and fall. Please replace the sign or remove the metal stump before someone gets hurt.

Can the City explain why it spent time and money to create bike lanes on Washington Blvd only to have the City scrape it all off to repave the street? Does the City have that much money to waste?

Please fix the white strip. Trucks and cars park over them and damage them. This is in front of 480 Washington.
