I and others in the neighborhood have been calling sherriff's office and 911 the past few days about multiple shots fired (last night woke me at 2 a.m.) I called in today to the Sherrff's office asking if I could get an update to see if they have found anyone, and the person who answered the phone at 11:50 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 24, 2023, just kept telling me that if the Deputy didn't hear shots, then they can't do anything (she wouldn't even confirm whether the deputy heard or didn't hear shots.) I keep trying to explain that I simply wanted to know if anyone has been found. My questions are: 1) Has anyone been apprehended in these shootings the past 2 nights (December 22 around 10 pm and Dec. 23 into December 24 at approximately 2 a.m.. on Dec. 24?) 2) I was under the impression that Bibb County has new technology to triangulate where the shots are coming from, but when I asked that question, she said: "yes", but still wouldn't answer my direct question of: "was anyone apprehended." I'm not sure why I can't get a direct answer to find out what is happening about the fact that there have been multiple shots fired repeatedly, and simply put, was anyone apprehended? I called the only number I could find for Bibb County Sherriff, (478) 751-7500, so if there's another number, it would help to be able to find it on the Sheriff's web page.

I don't think it's appropriate for people who have handicapped stickers to have to pay to park close to where they are trying to go. Those who are not handicapped, have the option to park several blocks away in an area that does not have a parking meter, but those who are handicapped, do not have that option, and it can be seen as a form of discrimination. Other cities do not enforce parking fees with a handicapped sticker, and in fact, there are many that also allow those with handicapped stickers to park in any parking spot, regardless of whether or not it is marked for handicapped use. That way, if there are no handicapped spots left, they can still have appropriate access.

The sidewalk between Stonewall Place and Pierce Avenue along Vineville Ave. is in terrible shape, and needs to be repaired immediately. It is completely inaccessible for people with disabilities, and it is unsafe for everyone, as there aren't even curbs, so that cars can easy drive up on the sidewalk. There are also 4 traffic barrels (stacked on each other) blocking the sidewalk at Pierce Avenue (visible in my picture), so that people have to walk into the street to go around it. There is also significant overgrowth from trees over the sidewalk. This is an avoidable accident waiting to happen. Thank you

Dead animal on the public sidewalk on Vineville Avenue at corner of DeSoto Place. No way to get around it, except to walk in the street.

There's a broken grate in the roadway that a person's foot and/or small animal can fall through, lots of pot holes, and just basically hasn't been fixed in probably years! Dangerous to walk on, but it is used as a walkway between streets.

After 3 months with our single can of yard waste sitting in front of our house waiting for pickup, and multiple reports to "see-click-fix", at least 5 phone calls to Advanced Disposal (each time they tell me we are on the list for that day or the next), and even attempting to let my councilman know twice (he hasn't even bothered to respond), please let us know how much of a bribe it will cost, and who we should pay it to, so our yard waste is finally picked up. For the record, a neighbor on the next street over told me they put theirs out almost weekly, and it always gets picked up!

Yard wast STILL not picked up! Now month 3 of this. We pre-paid $300, and can't even get 1 container of yard waste picked up from in front of our house, despite many phone calls, and contacts.

Previously cited dumpster (by Code Enforcement) was carted off by the dumpster company after they threatened to empty the contents onto the ground, because the owner had given them a bad credit card. I informed them, and also P Raines and Code Enforcement (who is still waiting for reply from the owners of the property about severe violations) that the threat was made, and to please let them know it would be illegal dumping. I have no idea if they were notified by P Raines and Code Enforcement. There is now hazardous material all over the ground. They took the dumpster this evening (sometime between 5 - 6:30 pm), and placed an old fiberglass surround, insulation mostly likely including asbestos, and old molding wall board and other items on the ground to be blown around and damage other property (mostly mine which is a few feet away!) For the record, both I and another neighbor had left messages for the carting company that they could not dump the materials on the ground, but although they didn't dump as much as they threatened, they did dump it. This is the historic district, it is illegal dumping, and there is hazardous waste mixed in. We need this dealt with immediately!

In plastic container. Been there for about 2 months. I called 2-3 weeks ago, and was told that they are "behind" in pickups (even though they have picked up larger debris on my street twice during that time, and mine has been left both times!)
