Trash & Recycling Archived34 Middletown Ave New Haven, Connecticut, 06513 - Cedar Hill
Under what conditions can a trash collection employee take a resident's trash bin? I imagine there must be some criteria.
This request for information is in reference to the following reported issue in which a resident claimed that a trash collection employee took their trash bin.

Street Sweeping Archived35 Middletown Ave New Haven, Connecticut, 06513 - Quinnipiac
The street sweeping schedule listed at the following URL hasn't been updated. It ended on October 31, 2022 (31 days ago).
https://www.newhavenct.gov/home/showpublisheddocument/10630/637837229901500000
Also, at the following URL, it states, "The Department of Parks & Public Works annual street sweeping program operates April 1 โ October 31."
If the street sweeping schedule ends on October 31, then why are the signs posted indicating street sweeping in November?
I hope this information helps.

Trash & Recycling - General Issues Archived2750 Dixwell Ave Hamden, Connecticut, 06518 - Hamden_Feature 001
Just a heads up, I reported this on April 29, 2022, but the issue still exists.
At https://www.hamden.com/214/Solid-Waste-Recycling it states that July 4th is on a Sunday, so trash collection will not be delayed a day.
July 4th is actually on a Monday. Here's the originally reported issue:

Parking Violation/Abandoned Auto Archived200 Orange St New Haven, Connecticut, 06510 - Town_Green
Today, a notification from our TT&P Department was posted about Residential Parking Zone 4 Activation for Saturday, May 14, 2022. It can be seen here:
https://seeclickfix.com/organization_notices/ob4Mc9QoaBmijJLd8iJxkTsz
It states, in part, the following information:
"...make sure all vehicles on street in zone 4 signed areas display the residential parking zone 4 permit hanging from the rearview mirror..."
Parking permit tags were discontinued last year. How can zone 4 residents display their parking permit tags if those tags no longer exist?

Private Property Issue Archived165 Church St New Haven, Connecticut, 06510 - Town_Green
There is no SeeClickFix category for IT issues, so I chose "Private Property Issue". Please forward this reported issue to our city's IT Department.
Visually, our city's updated website looks great. Just a heads up, the old URLs don't redirect to the new URLs.
I was just wondering how much time it's going to take for our IT Department to resolve all of the issues associated with the updated https://www.newhavenct.gov/
Do Rob Valli & Eric Valli need any help with this?
Is Chet Sawiki aware of this issue?
I hope this information helps.

On the Tweed New Haven Airport's website, there is a webpage where local residents can submit community concerns about the airport; i.e., noise and/or air pollution. The URL to that webpage is as follows:
https://veoci.com/v/p/30011/workflow/y84yhxrwpkss
NOTE: Recently, New Haven's SeeClickFix was modified so that certain issues do not allow public commenting. I understand the configuration change was to avoid contentious comments from being posted; however, it is quite counterproductive.
Now, every time someone has valuable input, they need to open a new issue and reference it to the originally reported issue.

This is only a test of New Haven's new SeeClickFix category "Environmental Health Concerns (Non-Covid Related). No action is required unless I don't have access to close this issue.
If I don't have access to close this issue, it would be very much appreciated if one of our city's officials would close it for me.

Parking Violation/Abandoned Auto ArchivedNew Haven CT, USA - Town_GreenNow that parking permit hang tags are no longer required in residential parking districts, what resources are available for residents to verify if someone has a permit to park in their district or not?

New Haven CT, USA - Town_Green
We've all noticed that trash/recycling bins sometimes get stolen. We can all help to prevent this by painting our address numbers on our bins. Heck, we can even paint cool looking designs on them.
For families with children, a fun-time art activity can also help to prevent your bins from getting stolen.
I hope this information helps.

COVID-19 Concerns Archived165 Church St New Haven, CT, 06510, USA - Town_Green
Most people are aware that the mask mandate has been reinstated, but our city's main online COVID-19 hub has not been updated to include this information. It might be a good idea to update the webpage at https://covid19.newhavenct.gov/
Currently, there is no information about the reinstated mask mandate on that webpage.

Traffic Signal / Pedestrian Signal Archived200 Orange St New Haven, CT, 06510, USA - Town_Green
My friends and I are thrilled the pedestrian automatic recall mode has been changed back to the mode which requires pushing the crosswalk button at all crosswalks, but folks keep telling me the allotted time to cross the streets is significantly shorter than it used to be.
If possible, could someone with TT&P check to see if it's true, and if it is true, could you please change the settings so that the allotted time to cross the streets is as long as it used to be?
If it's not true that the allotted time to cross the streets is shorter than it used to be, perhaps it's just a psychological temporal illusion.
