Excessive speed on Eolus Since the pandemic started approximately six months ago there has been a huge uptick in bicycles and pedestrians along with dogs on Eolus Ave Even with the speed limit of 25mph it is dangerous for our residents I am requesting several speed bumps especially on Eolus between Glaucus and Leucadia Blvd to increase the safety of our local residents and kids and dogs We were promised these traffic calming measures years ago but yet to see them Please execute these actions hopefully before our neighbors are seriously hurt in a car with pedestrians accident results

Tree has fallen over in the city planter at the Turnabout at Leucadia Blvd and Hymettus NE side. The branches are obstructing the sidewalk and also blocking some of the view of traffic going West on Leucadia Blvd. This will only get worse and obstruction of view for pedestrians and cars. Please remove or do a great deal of pruning to this tree. Thanks

North side of Leucadia Blvd. Area of concern is between Eolus Ave and Hymettus Ave. The walkway is very overgrown with both the bushes and the ground cover growing well into the path. Not enough room for two people walking next to one another. This walkway gets a great deal of foot traffic with many people using to go the the beach etc. Please clear walkway so the many strollers, kids on bikes and wheel chairs can be safe. Please address as soo as possible. Thanks

Landmark nursery has opened and cars parked spreading on the corner of Eolus and Leucadia Blvd are being parked on the street blocking the lane to northbound traffic. This is a double yellow street an someone will be injured either kids walking home from school or normal traffic on Eolus. Please notify the business that this is a very dangerous practice. I’ve noticed that the owner and the workers are the prime offenders. There is ample parking on the property and still parking blocking the street is observed.

Le Port Montessori school has had a runoff water leak for over two months. School has been advised of situation and has not responded. Water leak is continuing to flow day and night estimated at approximately around one gallon per minute. Photo was taken behind school on a sidewalk on the south west corner of school. The sidewalk can be accessed from the parking lot of St John’s Catholic Church. Please respond to this waste of water.

Trashy couches have been abandoned for over a week. Please remove this eyesore to help prevent a trend in Leucadia. Address is 1182 Eolus.

Encinitas paid city landscaping services are not doing a good job keeping the sidewalks clear for pedestrian traffic. This photo was taken just west of the Leucadia Blvd and Saxony Rd intersection. There is a lot of pedestrian traffic on Leucadia Blvd and this concern runs all the way from I-5 to the top of the hill at Leucadia Blvd and Quail Garden Rd. Please coach these guys to do a much better job to make room for multiple pedestrians to use the sidewalk without one needing to step off the sideewalk.

Three very bad potholes have been giving motorists very bone jarring situations. It appears that neighbors have attempted to help by dumping rocks etc. in holes to help. This needs a quick response from the city of Encinitas as audible thud can be heard when cars turn. Pothole farm is on the SE corner of the Vulcan/Orpheus intersection

Graffiti is on the north side of Leucadia Blvd. Approximately 1/8 of a mile west of Saxony on the city wall next to the sidewalk.

Five large pices of discarded lumber have been left on sidewalk area for over five days. Please remove.
