I reported this problem over 2 years ago. The underground pipe has rusted out and the earth (my yard) is falling into the pipe. A Contractor, with Camera equipment, inspected the 150 foot length of pipe and identified a hole in the pipe, plus other areas along the length that are in poor condition. After the video recording of the pipe, I was told it needed to be "analyzed". After I called various County departments, no one has contacted me over this two year period. My original request was submitted under the old Clickit system. Please be advised this pipe is spanning multiple homeowner improvements, thus digging it up is not an option. Having lived at this residence for the past 32 years, I have personally watch the County lay soil cloth each time there is a sink hole in my yard. This Pipe will need to be sleeved to fix it correctly. It's time to get this request back into the system and have the pipe repaired correctly.

Please assign a County Team / pump truck to remove the standing water cover both travel lanes.
    Thank You,
  • Bayside Beach Road & Nancy Road Pasadena, Maryland - Anne Arundel County, MD
Please differ this compliant directly to a supervisor because multiply County crews have visited this location to partially pump the water away. This is only a short term solution to an ongoing and very serious problem. Eventually a head-on auto collision will occur due to opposing traffic attempting to avoid the constant standing water.
The county dept. needs to design a drainage system to process the large volume of water that is collecting after a rainfall.
This problem has existed for years and has now gotten worse.
As soon as the fridge temperatures arrive this location will become an frozen pond or black ice roadway. Immediate Action needs to be taken on this treacherous problem .

Complaints/ Violations within the Community of Sun Valley in Glen Burnie:
    1. At the entrance of Phyillis Road and B&A Blvd there is a County Road sign that states no commercial vehicles over 1 ton are permitted in the community except for deliveries. The following identified vehicles are clearly in violation.

    2. 7817 Shellye Road: The tenant is parking his commercial work truck in front of the house. This truck is also over the 1-ton limit.

3.7817 Shellye Road: Due to the parked commercial work truck, the tenant is parking his private vehicle in front of the Fire Hydrate. This Fire Hydrate is always blocked by him and other residents.

    4. Request the traffic division paint the roadway to identify the Fire Hydrate and the clear distance that must be maintained when parking on both sides of this Hydrate.

5.7815: Another Commercial Vehicle, Blue Dot Company I believe is the name on the truck. This vehicle is also a 1-ton vehicle in violation of the posted community sign.

    6. 7830 Shellye Road: The Home Owner is parking his U Haul Transporter/Work truck at his residence. It is parked within his driveway, but the truck is in violation of the posted Signage.

Looking forward to an update to these complaints,
    Thanks

Complaints/ Violations within the Community of Sun Valley in Glen Burnie:
    1. At the entrance of Phyillis Road and B&A Blvd there is a County Road sign that states no commercial vehicles over 1 ton are permitted in the community except for deliveries. The following identified vehicles are clearly in violation.
    2. 7808 Overhill Road: Home Owner is parking a Tractor Trailer truck, which is parked roadside or in their driveway. Both locations are in violation. This truck is leaking oil/grease and or fuel which will eventually be washed down the storm drain system. They are also parking their RV Camper near the corner of the Overhill and Shellye Roads, which is making for a dangerous situation due to blocking the visibility when exiting Shellye road onto Overhill Road. I have personally struggled to see the oncoming vehicles to my right when exiting Shellye road.
    3. 7818 Overhill Road: The Home Owner is parking a Commercial Roll Back/Tow Vehicle.
Looking forward to progress made in addressing this problem / Violation.
    Thanks ~

9010 Fort Smallwood Road Pasadena, Maryland - Anne Arundel County, MD
Please review the posted or lack of posted speed limit signs on Ft.Smallwood Road.
The stretch of roadway of concern is from Hog Neck Road & Ft. Smallwood Road to the entrance of FT. Smallwood Park.
It appears someone has removed a 50 mph sign.
As you near Bayside Beach Road entrance a 50 mph sign is posted and within 200 ft thereafter a 45 mph is posted .
Also - speed limit signs need to be installed somewhere in the vicinity of the County School Repair Facility; in both the east and west bound directions. People are so confused as to what speed to travel along this section; some travel at 40 others at 60 mph.
I have been traveling this roadway since 1988, it is amazing the recent change in drivers speeds along this length.
    Thanks
