Property owners of 50 Beacon St., aka, "Friends Of Blackrock Historic District", have been parking illegally on Beacon Court for years. They were first asked POLITELY to please not park there years ago because this is a ROAD HAZARD and blocks two way traffic on this tiny street. (well documented) After ignoring polite efforts, they have been asked firmly and finally, in exasperation, asked quite impolitely to "please don't park there". (Wayne Hiller shouted, "Get the @#$% off my property.", his front porch. well documented) They have allowed and encouraged contract workers to also park illegally for years. (painters, Randy Parker's lawn care workers)All well documented. This illegal parking has also damaged the roadway and turf which which has sunken over water lines to Beacon Court residents homes. (some have had to have their water lines replaced) This area floods and forms a large pool of water when it rains even moderately and forms a large sheet of ice in winter. And yet, this entitled behavior continues. Owners of 50 Beacon Street have "deeded right of way" to travel on Beacon Court to access the driveway and garage at the rear of their property. Not right of ILLEGAL PARKING, Thanks so much.... "Friends of Blackrock Historic District"? CT. lic plate 681 JWK. Red Hundai

For years, right under the nose of all of the City Officials this eyesore has existed. Most recently during the scale back Blackrock meetings, protests, etc. etc. this has been right in the face of residents and City Council members, City Officials. This does not bode well for the future management of this property... This BLIGHT typifies and forecasts the the likelihood of the continuance of these disrespectful practices and disregard for the residents of Bridgeport. Not that this "Practice" is limited to Blackrock. It exists all over Bridgeport. The irony is particularly sharp and deep given the recent focus on the failed local push back to the commercial residential high rise project that was UNETHICALLY foisted and weaseled through the ZONING DEPT.
    Thanks, Mr. Dennis B.

PRIVATE watercraft stored at PUBLIC Seabright Beach. Tiny public beach and lawn area populated with numerous kayaks. Like so many other issues in Bpt. the Parks Dept., Zoning dept., et al, has for years been ignoring this problem and not addressing it until a complaint is filed... If managed correctly there would be a permanent sign placed right under the NO LIFE GUARD ON DUTY.

Unsafe Demolition at the Wasted Opportunity Site observed on Friday Aug. 2nd. No hazardous dust management, no water sprayed, dust clouds rising and drifting over the neighboring residences and businesses. Dust likely contains ASBESTOS and most likely LEAD DUST and other contaminants. Serious lack of concern by CITY HALL on all fronts from beginning to sad end. Not even any effort to salvage and recycle architectural elements, beautiful harwood interior elements, etc. etc. A crying shame! Let's see how quickly this posting gets wiped off this site versus many other ignored issues posted here...
