    Hi - this week was supposed to be our recycling pick up as well as trash. It is typically on Wednesday, but I'm guessing was delayed a day due to the weather and the holiday. However, it's Thursday and the trash has been picked up, but still no recycling.

    Hi,
    I was wondering if Bridgeport still participates in the Recyclebank program?
    I enrolled in Recyclebank over 10 years ago, and have mostly enjoyed it. But, a few months ago, I was un-signed out of the program, and, every time I have tried to sign back it, I'm told that my information doesn't connect to an account (this isn't true -- I've gotten many magazine subscriptions with my Recyclebank points over the past few years). Then I tried to create a new account, only to be told that my zip code wasn't a valid zip code. That is not true either. I just want to know what's going on. Please help.

    This morning, after trash and recycling were picked up on my street, I saw little trails of broken glass dotting areas of the roadway. There was a decent pile of it by my driveway. Wondering if the road can be cleaned up to prevent someone damaging their car (or worse).

    I have multiple leaf bags at my curb for pick up. I know the city picks up the week it picks up recycling, but wet weather is expected before then and i am worried the bags will disintegrate and spill onto the road.
    Is there any way the bags can be picked up early? Please advise,

    My name is Amanda Cuda Swavy and I live at 171 Stratfield Place in Bridgeport. Today is my trash pick up day, and I left two small children's chairs in my trash bin. They weren't taken. I don't think they would be considered "recycling," nor do I think they constitute "bulk trash," as they fit in the trash bin. Can you tell me why they weren't taken? Is it possible for someone to come get them?
