    The grounds of and around Betsy Ross Arts Magnet School are littered with trash from neighbors and the homeless who have taken up residence on the grounds. Their leavings are on the steps of the Parrish Hall near the front of the property, and there is a recliner under a tree right by the school where a homeless man sleeps. There are also lean-tos and other shelters on and around the property. School starts Monday 8/30. This is what students will see when their parents or the busses drop them off. Kimberly Avenue is also a disgrace- trash everywhere. Please address the issues in these public spaces asap.

    The sidewalk that goes around our property (it is a corner lot) has been a mess for some time in SEVERAL places. Now chunks are starting to come right up- Some IS tree related- there is a huge tree on the property causing some of it on Lakeview-other reasons are water damage. There are no storm drains on the street, and rain water jumps the curb and flows down the sidewalk on Lakeview, then meets up with what is pouring down the street on Hillcrest, where it continues to pour both down the street and sidewalk on Hillcrest. Our snow blower was damaged twice as we attempted to clear the sidewalks. We first reported this issue in 2014.
