It has been much too long since Skyworks has been permitted to work producing noise levels from filling their gas tanks, that are dangerous and can permanently harm hearing of neighbors. I have been in contact with its facility manager, Joe Torrice, and he has promised that they will improve, things get better for a short time, and then they go back to bad again. As an example. today 09/11/2017, a tanker from Praxair started charging the tank at around 6.30 in the morning for about one hour. This evening, they started charging at 8.30 pm for about and hour. The noise levels measured from my kitchen door varied from 84 to 90 db. I filed a complaint with phone with the police, and they seemed to have lowered the charge rate. I took measurements from their property limit, and about 100 yards from the truck, and they were still pushing 85 db (I have screenshots of the measurements if records proof is needed). Those levels are harmful, not to mentioned that they drive all neighbors insane with the noise. Some time ago, I met with Mr Torrice when they were applying for permits for additional tanks and he told me that he cannot control the schedule of Praxair for deliveries, I can tell you that whoever is paying for deliveries, has control of when the gas is delivered. Skyworks has been allowed to work like this for much too long, it is time that they installed sound barriers to protect surrounding residences, not to mention, apartment buildings across the street. The picture with a measurement of 90 db was the measurement from my kitchen door, I tried to upload others with a measurement of 85 db, when they lowered the pressure, and I also include a picture of the truck while delivering, but I am not sure they have uploaded.
