    I realize that Hiway 29/Sonoma Blvd is controlled by the State/County. I don't know if/why they ONLY did a temporary "fix" of that intersection, but it was poorly done and is already breaking up. Once the rains start, it will worsen quickly. Sonoma at Nebraska is also breaking up, as is Redwood at Sonoma. The entire strip of Hiway 29/Sonoma Blvd through Vallejo needs to be resurfaced and asap.

    I was told that because this is officially Hiway 29, it had to go to CalTrans ~ which I have done months ago....to no avail. the south bound section of Sonoma Blvd at Tennessee has been gouged up for months and months. it is almost like they cut the asphalt away to
    come back to repave but never did.

    It has gotten so bad that drivers either have to swing totally away from traffic pattern or come to a complete stop and ease across the tracks. The asphalt has totally broken away from the tracks and the opened gaps are hard on tires and suspension.

    The asphalt around the railroad tracks has broken away. When you drive over the tracks, especially east bound, you have to come to a full stop, then drive slowly across to keep your tires from slamming into the tracks and old asphalt. Really hard on tires and alignment.

    The asphalt in the center of the intersection is breaking loose. This area is approx. 20' x 6' and may be caused by the traffic traveling on Sonoma at Tennessee. This has been repaired before. It looks like the asphalt was scraped away to prepare for reasphalting, but that was never completed. The deepest part is in the South bound direction.

    The asphalt in the center of the street around the manhole is breaking loose. This area is approx. 10' x 4' and may be caused by the buses traveling up Christopher Way. This has been repaired before.
