Traffic Signal Needed Archived63 Kendrick Street Needham, Massachusetts - NeedhamI am writing to request a traffic light at the corner of Kendrick St. and 4th Ave. I work in an office at this intersection and struggle to get to from the office safely. Turning left from 4th Ave onto Kendrick St. is nearly impossible. Traffic is backed up at this intersection at rush hour. I requested a traffic light here last year, and was told that it would need to wait until the new exit off of 95 was completed. That has now been completed and the issue has not gone away. The intersection of Kendrick St. and 4th Ave is in desperate need of a traffic light. Cars turning left from 4th Ave routinely wait several minutes, and even then take the turn at great peril. The same is true for other drivers at that intersection. Traffic backs up significantly at rush hour. And as the N-Squared innovation district continues to grow, this problem will grow with it. Please let me know the best course of action to make this happen. It will make Needham safer. Thank you.
