We had the snow storm the weekend of the 12th and a huge tree branch fell on the electrical wire in our backyard. When the branch fell on the electrical wire, it also tore off the electrical meter box off of our house. I contacted KCPL, and they said they won't fix it. An electrician quoted us 1,300.00 to re-mount the box on our house. Is there something the City of Shawnee can do for us? We are running out of options and a new winter storm is approaching.
