    I live at the bottom of Elm Terrace at number 4.
    Thanks for taking a moment to let me show you the step into the park at the bottom of Elm Terrace.

    As I see it, this presents two problems:

    1) The ADA issue you pointed out
    (A 6 inch impediment to those stepping from the street to the step, followed by a nearly 18 inch (!) drop from the step into the park).

    2) A barrier to drainage for the lake which forms at my driveway several times a year during most thunderstorms of any duration at all.
