Trees hanging awfully low over the sidewalk, like have to duck to not walk into them low.

Snow not cleared form sidewalk connecting two parks. EVERY YEAR. Has been three days since snow fell, do not understand why this 300 ft section is so difficult to shovel/plow. Is there a requirement that this is cleared?
  • 2778-2798 Hikone Rd Ann Arbor, MI, 48108, USA - Ann Arbor
Please, every year I am posting this location asking why it never gets plowed. This greenway/sidewalk is literally adjacent to a park, Social Service organization and community center. It has been over a week since the last snow and it does not appear that this area has been cleared at all. This path is clearly used regularly. What can someone do to remedy this beside going out of my and shoveling it myself? the greenway just south is cleared, why did they stop here? So many questions, so much disappointment in the process.

Dead trees/limbs along pathway, low enough to hit people walking/biking
  • 2778-2798 Hikone Rd Ann Arbor, MI, 48108, USA - Ann Arbor
Who is responsible for clearing this part of sidewalk/greenway, park path?
Every time there is a snow ice this does not get cleared. Last storm was Friday/Saturday... Today is Tuesday.
I don't understand why this part of the sidewalk/park does not get plowed like the section nearby.

Every year when it snow this 300ft section of sidewalk/greenway never gets shoveled, plowed or salted. Many people walk and bike through here and the greenway gets plowed up to the point just south.. why not just go an extra 300ft?

There is a desperate need for a mid-block pedestrian crossing on 5th between Liberty and William connecting the Transit Center to the Library and new City Center Park. Something like what was done near the Farmers market would be great for slowing traffic down and allowing people to safely cross.

I'm not sure what problem this solves. It is very embarrassing that this was put in place. At least put a planter in, or bike racks, garbage cans literally anything would be better than this!

There is a bike lane gap on Stadium between Industrial and Packard. There is no good reason why the bike lane drops, then reappears... cars tend to speed up around this corner making things dangerous for pedestrians and cyclists, in a mostly residential area with houses/park on both sides of Stadium.

The crosswalk walk signals do not change to the safe to walk light unless the button is pushed. Is this normal? I ask because often times ill arrive at this crosswalk with others already waiting, so I assumed they must have pushed the button. however we'll sit and wait through entire light cycles for traffic, with out getting a walk light?
Is pushing the button required for getting the safe to walk light when it is safe to walk?
if that is the case who would i get into contact with about changing that because requiring a button push to cross the street doesn't quit seem right.

I believe this construction site should have a Gravel drive or mud mat installed per requirements, plus the road is now a mess.
  • 300-306 S Main St Ann Arbor, MI, 48104, USA - Ann Arbor
This is still very bad for pedestrians! Sidewalk is reduced to the 12" curb along east main, a very high pedestraian area because of construction, however there is still room for three card to park...? Should remove the parking to allow at least enough tomo for two people to walk out a wheelchair!
  • 2742 Packard Rd Ann Arbor, MI, 48108, USA - Ann Arbor
Every time it snows/rains ice the section of sidewalk between Rose park and Mary Beth Doyle park is left uncleared. not great for the many people that use the path as shown by the many footprints and tire tracks.
  • 2742 Packard Rd Ann Arbor, MI, 48108, USA - Ann Arbor
This section of the pathway/sidewalk is always covered in ice and snow during the winter. This route is heavily trafficked as shown by the tire tracks and footprints, why must it be so icy!
  • 314 South Main Street Ann Arbor, Michigan - Ann Arbor
Should remove parking instead, to allow pedestrian path

Please look into resetting the timers for these lights so there is consideration of slower speed traffic. going north into town along packard as the light at packard and state turns green there is about 10 seconds until the light at pack and and hill turns red. this creates a very dangerous and aggresive road, people either nail it and are going about 40mph to make the light, or gridlock ensues in the short block.
  • 4401 Carpenter Road Ypsilanti, Michigan - Washtenaw County
Having a detour for the Platt Rd Greenway taking Carpenter over 94 you might want to do a better job taking into consideration cyclist that are routed this way. Both this bridge crossing and along Ellsworth going west are in rough shape. On carpenter there is probably 1/2" of dirt, sand, glass, garbage taking up the entire northbound bike lane. on Ellsworth there are a number of trees/shrubs reaching out into the bike lane requiring riding in the roadway.
