The contractor has apparently abandoned this construction site. The sidewalk has been closed for months, with no progress after the initial repair attempts. Signs are knocked over and water is standing in the holes they dug. It's unsafe, unsightly and sidewalk is unusable to residents due to mud overflowing the entire stretch. Please complete this repair ASAP - it's my understanding this was one of many requirements of the Chevy dealer opening that have been ignored or neglected.

Sometime between Friday afternoon and Saturday morning there was some sort of gathering in the dead end and a large amount of trash - several dozen drink bottles and other debris was left on the sidewalks on either side of the road. Please have this cleaned up and have WFPD patrol this dead end
  • 4429-4499 Shearon Farms Ave Wake Forest, NC, 27587, USA - Wake County
There are 4 vehicles parked in a row that have either no tags or expired temporary tags, some parked to close together as to obviously hide the tags. Someone is obviously using this stretch of road for illegal commercial storage.
  • Shearon Farms Avenue Wake Forest, North Carolina - Wake County
There are two commercial trucks parked long-term, obstructing sight line from both directions, causing a traffic hazard. At least one of them has not moved in about a month.
  • Iyar Way & Rainsong Dr Wake Forest, North Carolina - Wake County
The street sign was knocked down and is sitting on the ground near the intersection
  • Shearon Farms Blvd Wake Forest, North Carolina - Wake County
The sidewalk area below the Shearon Farms pool along Shearon Farms Blvd near the traffic circle has an ongoing issue (over a year) with some sort of runoff. Even after extended dry periods, there is slimy, oily mud covering the sidewalk, making it dangerous to walk on. It appears to be some sort of drainage from under the pool. At minimum it needs to be diverted or contained by some sort of drain.

This stretch of sidewalk along the new dealership (near 4154 Shearon Farms) and embankment is improperly built and not maintained. Mud is sliding from the overflow pond and parking lot embankment onto the sidewalk, making it unsafe to walk. There are also damaged concrete areas.

This vehicle appear to be abandoned or illegally parked long term - no license plate or identifying marks
  • 9941 Sweet Basil Drive Wake Forest, North Carolina - Wake County
This commercial truck has been abandoned
parked illegally for quite some time. It is at the very end of Meadstone Way near Sweet Basil Dr
  • Shearon Farms Avenue Wake Forest, North Carolina - Wake County
There are several trees along this stretch that are blocking the sidewalk
  • 4154 Shearon Farms Avenue Wake Forest North Carolina - Wake County

The contractor at this construction site is not maintaining their runoff barriers, cleaning the sidewalk or picking up trash.

There are sections of the sidewalk along both Clover Bank and Shearon Farms that are inaccessible due to overflowing ankle deep mud, sections of both the street easement and the embankment that are collapsing sinking and construction debris and trash everywhere (including broken glass and metal pieces).

This is a safety hazard and I would assume this is a permit violation, please have them clean the sidewalks and fix the issues.

    Thank you!

The cover at the very end of the street, in front of the little pond and park has fallen into the storm sewer and there is now an open shaft of about 4-5 feet deep that could cause serious injury if someone falls in or damage if a vehicle pulls into it.
  • 4154 Shearon Farms Wake Forest, NC 27587, USA - Wake County
This stretch of road has several large areas that are damaged and / or sunk into the ground significantly to the point where many people veer into opposite lane to avoid or have to come to complete stop to mitigate. this will cause vehicle damage and accidents if not addressed
  • 4154 Shearon Farms Wake Forest, NC 27587, USA - Wake County
There are several large potholes on this stretch but one has gotten so bad that it could cause serious vehicle damage due to the sharp edge and depth.
I understand there is construction going at the adjacent lot but these need to be at least temporarily patched or cones / barriers put up
  • On Meadstone Way At The Corner Of Clover Bank St Wake Forest, North Carolina - Wake County
The truck is obviously abandoned. Been there a long time with no tags or identifying info other than a DOT number stenciled on side.
Please tow as it is a safety hazard (leaking fluids and kids at play around it) notnto mention an eye sore
