There's a tree bent over into the street. It appears that the trunk might be split up near the bend, but it is not entirely clear - it might just be bent down. Address approximate.

I shoveled out all the snow that the plows (again) shoveled into my driveway last night and today. While I was shoveling, the plow came by again, and I made my presence known. He turned the blade away from my driveway, so now I know that it is possible for them to do so!

I am posting a picture here of my shoveled-out driveway to serve as a time stamp, so if it gets plowed in again I'm going to know that the driver is intentionally undoing all of my hard work. So I guess this is kind of an experiment. I know I was not the only Cantibrigian that was incensed at having their driveway/s plowed in this past winter!

Recently a big-ol' top-heavy maple was cut back to what is now a 12 foot-high stump. The former tree - although visibly unstable, especially given the violent storms we have been subject to lately - used to provide some welcome shade on what is an otherwise pretty glaring stretch.

I have put in a separate issue requesting thatl this stump get pulled, and a new tree be planted, or even a couple of new trees spaced ~20-30 ft apart, so we might enjoy some of that natural cooling and visual beauty again?

    Thank you -

Drivers on Park Street - when waiting for the green light at the intersection of Park Street and Beacon Street - have very little time to make (what is more often than not) a left turn on to Beacon. Most cars coming in the opposite direction - from Scott Street - go straight through the intersection and onto Park, and since the light is very short, only one or two cars on Park St gets to make that left turn onto Beacon. This causes traffic to back up on Park St, especially at rush hour. It would be very helpful if drivers on Park Street could get a 10 second L turn green light before the cars waiting on Scott get the green. I think it would definitely help everyone get clear of that intersection more effectively and with less delay and less aggravation. Thank you.

Thick ice edge to-edge of sidewalk and ~15 feet in length @ 1446 Cambridge St.

Also a large patch of icy sidewalk @ 1436 Cambridge St.

Noticed it yesterday (2/8) walking into Inman Sq.
