Trees/Branches Archived61 Ash St Reading, MA 01867, USA - Reading
Bushes are starting to overtake the sidewalk, esp on Gould St side. Street is too narrow making it dangerous to have to walk on it. Hope they can take care of this before it gets worse. I have complained about this before, either last year or the year before.
Thanks.

Tree Lawn Archived24 Gould St Reading, MA 01867, USA - ReadingIt's too bad the owners of this apartment building can't be fined for all the dog waste on the tree lawns in front of it. It's too gross to even post a photo. I think one dog must have a bad diet. Is it or it it not a town by-law that you have to clean up after your dog? Nothing is ever done about it here.

Trees/Branches Archived129 Ash St Reading, MA 01867, USA - ReadingThe branches are getting pretty low. Any time an 18-wheeler or box truck goes by (and they do make deliveries in the area) they hit all those branches. Also, it does look like one of the power (or phone) lines is being pushed down under the weight of a main branch or two. Might want to trim before we get snow. Thanks!

Tree Lawn Acknowledged16 Gould St Reading, MA 01867, USA - ReadingSomeone around this treelawn apparently thinks it's their dog's personal toilet. I could've taken more photos than just the two. At least down at 34 Gould they're trying - putting the sign in front of their building. It is gross walking on this street. From the Rite Aid parking lot all the way up to Ash - new and old dog waste every few feet.

Traffic Signal Archived958 Main St Reading, MA 01867, USA - ReadingOn Thurs 8/4/22 I was driving north on Main St and noticed the green light on the overhanging signal was out. You can't see the signals on the sidewalk to the right til you get closer as there's a bit of a curve. Of course I slowed down til I saw the signal color on the poles to the right since I didn't know if it was a red or green light out. Sorry I forgot to report it that day.

Other Archived28 Gould St Reading, MA 01867, USA - ReadingComplaint is about dog waste. If you walk along Gould St, from the parking lot of the vacant Rite Aid all the way up to Ash St, but especially in front of Ace Flats, you will find lots of dog waste. Look in any tree lawn or yard edge and you will undoubtedly see some dog poop, whether fresh or decaying. It's gross. So either signs need to be posted in front of Ace Flats and by the Rite Aid or flyers need to be stuck in mailboxes. Several months ago I messaged someone who manages the Town's Facebook page (they knew of the problem) but obviously nothing has been done. I'm sick of people thinking this whole street is their dog's toilet. Thanks.
