    We set both our trash and recycle carts at curbside on Tuesday 13 July. Recycle was picked up and emptied. Trash cart disappeared. We looked around but did not see it anywhere. It was a smaller cart (32 gallons?) which has sometimes been inadequate or toppled over when placed back after being emptied. If a replacement is due, could we receive a 'standard' size like our recycle cart (64 gallons)? Both carts were 'original issue' at no charge. The following answers to questions below are 'placeholders' since we do not know the sizes for sure not the reason the cart disappeared.

    The source of large softball sized pieces of pavement thrown over the public sidewalk seems to be a pothole surrounding an exposed street utility fixture or access. Appatently snow plows have created or exacerbated deterioration of the pavement in an enlarging pothole with the fixture exposes at the center. The location is on the dashed lane marking between the westbound lanes. A north-south crack in the pavement reaches both curbs of the street from the edge of the pothole.
