    I reported this months ago and you indicated you contacted whoever is responsible, but nothing has been done. The sign that says "Speed Limit 20 when blinking" does not blink at any hours of the day and is therefore not protecting any children walking to or from school. While I realize people don't actually pay attention to the blinking lights, at least if they were working I could request police presence and people going 35 could be pulled over. As it is, without the lights blinking they are not technically breaking any laws. This street is now less safe than it was before these new fancy signs were installed.

    The new speed limit/school zone signs on Shaker land display the speed of passing cars, but they do not blink at all at any time during the day. The signs say "20 mph when blinking," but they never blink. I live right across the street and I've never seen them blink at all, so nobody ever slows down when it's time to drop off or pick up the kids from school.
