These trucks have been parked here overnight since April 28, 2023. They should be ticketed, at least, and asked to find legal parking. This is ongoing across the city and needs to be addressed because otherwise, it seems, they think parking here overnight is fine. You cannot see it in this picture but it can be up to about six trucks at once. They park alongside the park and the O'Reilly's auto parts store - near Bostwick Ave.

The residents at PT Barnum Apartments have been using this walking path and would like the city to fix it. There is debris and erosion of the path. There is also a fence pole protruding onto the path from the chain link fence. We would love to have it improved and safe for our walking club and the individuals who walk alone. It's a great park but can be better with an improved pathway.

I know my recycling has not been picked up but it also looks like the entire street hasn't been picked up. Can we get a truck to come pick up because otherwise it's another 14 days before our recycling gets taken away and 14 more days of material to dispose of in bin that already filled.

Visitors to a neighbor's home park on the "no parking" side of the street of our narrow one-way street. I called the non-emergency number and nothing was done. It is a terrible problem for the street and the cars need to be ticketed or they will think they have every right to do it.

There is a mobile car wash set up on Bostwick (close to State Street) that has been there (on and off) for weeks. Usually, it's only a slight bother but yesterday they placed orange cones on the street and made the two-way street one-way, essentially. Cars going one way had to wait for the other traffic before they could proceed. It's a two-way street.

I'm am sending this here because I want to be proactive. On Saturday, the CT Food Bank will drop off pallets of food in boxes that volunteers from the PT Resident Council will distribute. After, the boxes and wooden pallets will need to be placed in a dumpster but the residents do not have one. Can the city come to remove the boxes and pallets after? The distribution is from 9:30 to, about, 11:00 a.m. on May 2.

This is my second request. My green city trash can was stolen on a Friday morning (I assume after pick up) over a month ago. It is awful not having a place to put my trash and having to see if my neighbors bin is filled so that I can place my trash in their bin. I would just like another trash bin, please.

Last Friday morning, after trash pick up for the week, my green trash can was missing and it has not been returned. I am in need of another.
  • State St & Yale St Bridgeport, CT, 06605, USA - Bridgeport
This company, GT Hauling - with a Wilton address, located on State Street (at the end of Yale Street) regularly has its over-sized trucks parked on Yale Street and State Street blocking traffic and traffic views for drivers trying to enter State Street from Yale street. It seems as if they have too many vehicles for their space and use the streets as their parking lot. I have more pictures taken over many months that show this is a regular occurrence. It can't be that they are allowed to do this truck "musical chairs" like parking with their lease of the property (or ownership). It interferes with Yale street and with residents trying to drive.

This fencing has been in front of the community center for three months. It blocks the front door and many parking spaces in front of the community center. It even blocks the handicap access and adds a burden to the user. There was no notification to PCC (Bridgeport Housing Authority) that this would take place. The site manager for PT Barnum Apartmemts does not know either. We want to have these removed by the person/company responsible. We have been patient but this is excessive and neglectful.

Trucks (tractor trailers) line up nightly on State and Fairfield and block vision from side streets and to side streets. I do not believe it is legal for them to use the west side as an overnight parking lot.
