I guess it's time for my regular reminder that our taxes pay for snow removal from our streets, not snow deposits Even for those of us who live on dead end streets Additionally this is likely to have wrecked the lawn of our neighbors Please return to the practice of backing the snow back from the end of Bilodeau Court ,

Hey ... Remember that puddle "issue" that has been reported countless times at the end of Bilodeau Court? I ask if you remember, because the complaints stay as "acknowledged" or "archived". This is taken 20 minutes into the current rainstorm. If it ends up in my basement again, I'm gonna be RIPPED!

And, given the numerous alerts we've given you across various seasons over the past few years, I'd hire representation as it relates to collecting for damages due to neglect after well documented and concerted effort from multiple people to alert you to the issues.

Hey ... remember that complaint about drainage at the end of Bilodeau Court that got "Archived"? What does that mean ... Archived? I've asked the question before, but didn't get an answer. This is the current situation 20 minutes into a rains storm. If this ends up in my basement again (75 Bilodeau Court), I'm gonna be @#$%. And I'll probably start looking into how to start a lawsuit for clean up based on the documented neglect for the issue throughout various seasons over the past three years.

    FIX this.

Once again the snow plow driver drove only part way down Bilodeau Ct, circled around Bilodeau Pkwy, and left without spreading melting materials or plowing the dead end section of Bilodeau Ct. I watched it happen. Please stop disregarding the end of Bilodeau Court for snow removal and ice melt. The entire stretch is a city street. The most recent complaint about the same issue was “archived” without any response. This is getting ridiculous.

Often times - probably far more times than not - the trucks that spread the de-icing solution to the streets skip the end of Bilodeau Court. They simply drive around Bilodeau Pkway and then take off. We already have water collection/puddling/drainage issues that are being ignored at the end of the street. Please at least provide the same de-icing protocol to our section of the street that all other tax payers receive. I’m surprised this has to be a formal request.

Please replace the former Ped Crossing sign and repaint the crosswalk at Beaumont Ave and Main Street. Traffic turning onto Beaumont from Main often completely disregard pedestrians.

This is the condition that results from no storm water drainage at the end of Bilodeau Court. The closest storm drain is located uphill at approximately where the car is parked in this picture. The resulting puddle now spans two complete driveways and reaches nearly to the middle of the street. It will soon overtake the sidewalk as well. This will repeat after every rainstorm in the warmer months. Please remove the concrete pad at the end of the sidewalk near 75 Bilodeau Ct. and install a catch basin for runoff. We’ve submitted numerous requests that have gone ignored.

Hey ... while we're on the subject of snow removal from the end of a dead end street, can I also get a clarification on what we should expect for ice treatment on the roads. More times than not, the snow plow driver will drive down (east) on Bilodeau Court, circle around Bilodeau Parkway, and then simply turn left and head west on Bilodeau Court without having backed up to the end of Bilodeau Court to disperse any ice melting product.

It would be tremendously helpful if we could learn of what the plowing and de-icing protocol is in such scenarios involving dead end streets.

The sidewalk plow continues to deposit, rather than remove, snow at our address at the end of Bilodeau Court. At best, if the driver decides to turn early, the snow simply doesn't get removed. Most of the time, though, snow is actually deposited at the location.

It seams to reason that if this section of pavement is not to be considered a sidewalk for the purposes of snow removal, it should not be considered a sidewalk any other time of the year. Parking tickets claiming it to be a sidewalk stand against such reason. Please respond with how I am actually to consider this section of concrete and what my expectations should be for snow removal or, at the very least, the cessation of snow deposits.

Of course, this could all be remedied by taking up previous suggestions of removing the concrete all together and creating an area that would allow for the soaking up of snow melt and rain that otherwise accumulates to dangerous levels at the base of the preceding two driveways.

I tire of this perennial suggestion and inconsistency.

This is not necessarily a request for plowing.

Rather, I wish to point out an inconsistency in how the City is defining a "sidewalk" in front of my house. If this section at the end of the stretch of pavement that dead-ends at my property is to be considered a sidewalk during the warmer months, it would stand to reason that it would benefit from snow removal as any other section of sidewalk in the city benefits. In practice, this becomes a section of sidewalk upon which additional snow is actually deposited. It's frustrating to receive a prompt ticket when we attempt to ease the parking congestion on the street by parking a car on this otherwise unused pavement. Seeing that we're again navigating another winter where this does not seem to be perceived as a sidewalk for the purposes of snow removal, I will again request that it not be considered a sidewalk during any other time of year.

Alternatively, you could remove this section of pavement all together and create a green space that would accommodate water runoff from the large puddles that accumulate on the adjacent two driveways. This runoff concern has been submitted a few times by myself and our neighbors.

I would be happy to coordinate with those who would facilitate the removal of the concrete and accept responsibility for maintaining a garden with plantings that can handle the snow piles deposited by the sidewalk plows each winter as well as the drainage needs during the warmer months.
