    2901 64th Avenue - Frick
    This is my fourth and final issue on Concordia Park, solely because i want to refrain from spamming this app.
    There is no lighting here at this park, after hours maybe around 5, you cannot play basketball.
    The nearest court i know with lights is all the way in downtown oakland at lincoln. We need lights.

    This is the third issue i am tackling here at Concordia Park in East Oakland. The first was the cracks and the damaged leveling, the second was the fact that there is no trash can, and now here we are with the graffiti. This has been here for a while now nothing negative but it just adds insult to injury considering the park is already blighted. This can be solved by simply having a neighborhood vote on what kind of mural can go up. Frick Middle School can fo something with an arts program..

    So This is my second post on the issues here at concordia park. The first was in regards to the liability of the leveling and cracks in the floor of the basketball courts. Now this one, is just ridiculous. I worked at Frick Middle School from 2013-2016/17 and I have never seen a garbage can here. Can we please get an appropriate sized garbage can here. The courts are used here every day by people of all racial backgrounds and gender preferences. How do we not have a trash can?? This upcoming week I might just go out and buy one if these issues aren't resolved. The garbage is piling up.

    This is Concordia Park, Across from Frick Middle School In East Oakland. The specific issue is the basketball courts. Full of liabilities and mishaps, but for this post we will focus on this one issue. The courts again, are full of cracks/ and the leveling has gotten worse over time. The courts are host to PE programming for k-12th grade throughout the week. Also the Frick Middle School kids come play here after school. The liability here for the city is the fact that several people have tripped here playing basketball. Spraining ankles as well as rolling them. I use the courts every morning for exercise and in sure youth use them for the same and to stay out of trouble. Can we please get better conditions for our recreation in our community?
