Not only did the city fail to misinform its residents that the main road would be closed from BEFORE 7am today for a coastal race for children whom most don’t live here & do not generate any income for the city, but you are now also allowing folk to put ROAD CLOSED signs on Young Blood Hill. If this is per city, the residents who need to use said street, should have been notified. It’s bad enough that OK is a two way street that tourists cruise with oversized vehicles... but now you are letting folk put up ROAD CLOSED signs??? Seriously... what do our taxes pay for?

Our garbage is picked up once a week on Tuesdays. By Wednesday the dumpster is full.
Why? Because of the "Drive By Dumpers", people from the county who do not want to pay for service,people who won't,don't and will not pay the sewer and garbage fees.
It's getting hotter, pretty soon the stench emitting from the dumpsters will fill the air.
Why dont we put locks on the dumpster and give the residents who pay for the service keys to the dumpsters? How about our police Dept. partrol the alleys and issue citations to violators?
I know what outlandish ideas, right? But I am sick of supporting people who do not contribute to the common good.
Oh, how is the delinquent sewer collection project going?

large pile of community green waste

The Cardboard recycle bin must be emptied weekly.It piles up around the trash container and than blows into the ditch or gets wet if there is rain.Sometimes the regular trash folks empty it.However,the others who pick up recycling take a few pieces and leave the rest.I have already reported this but the same thing happens again and again.I am OK with not having recycling bins if the City does not truly recycle.Please have regular trash person pick it up weekly or get rid of the recycling trash containers and have folks put it in their regular trash receptacles.

My family and I came to your city to visit us from Hermosillo and we found a sign of disrespect. We are very disappointed and we hope you will arrange it to show respect to your Mexican neighbors.

the last couple hundred yards of ok st has railing that is either now entirely missing or damaged enough to longer be effective. because the street ends in a tight cul-de-sac, tourists drive up, get stuck trying to turn around and smack the railing. sections in front of 207 ok st are completey gone now, and where the railing ends (at 214 ok st), it is no longer attached to the concrete foundation. these are both accidents waiting to happen. I understand this has been reported a number of times already, but nothing has happened to remedy the situation. as well, a gas pipe protruding into the street in front of 211 ok st has been hit a number of times, and is bent out of shape. posts should be installed around it (as in other areas around town) to keep it from being severed entirely. thank you.

Did you check this company out before sending out the information? They have many complaints to the Better Business Bureau and the city should not be recommending them.

Sewer overflow - downstream restriction causing overfow from valve box. Repeat problem. Sewer line should be video inspected to determine why problem recurs. Location is inside fence on west side of old swimmjng pool at end of Locklin Ave., closer to sw corner of fenced area.
