    At approximately 3:00 PM Saturday, April 20, 2024, a tree within Evergreen Park broke off at the trunk and crashed into the north side of my property, causing damage to two existing chain link fences. The tree also damaged my neighbor's carport.
    Multiple photos were taken of the tree and the damage.
    Would like to have this assessed by the City.

    The neighbor parks multiple vehicles in his yard and driveways as well as taking multiple spots in the neighborhood with their large trucks and trailers. As a neighborhood, we have made multiple complaints to the City to investigate their license about running a business without a State license and approval to run a business in a residential neighborhood which is not equipped to sustain or accommodate large number of vehicles they bring in.

    Ecoshield pest control going door to door soliciting even when no soliciting signs are posted. We even informed them that they do Not have the proper peddler permitting as confirmed by the City of Covington. He tried to argue that the Governors office has said they don't need this which is obviously a lie. This particular individual wouldn't leave even when asked and continued arguing.

    My ask is that rather than me or others calling non-emergency every time this comes up, could the city contact the company and inform them of the rules in Covington and warn them or something? This time of year we get all types of these, yard companies, pest control, solar panel etc and they don't care about the cities rules. Maybe we're sticklers but their tactics aren't welcome.

    A Covington citizen would like to know if there is any way we can enforce "no idling while parked in all public parking lots." They feel this is a pollution hazard to the people of the City of Covington. Apparently he walks the city streets quite a bit and sees this regularly. They would like to be contacted with an answer to this request.
