cars and trucks are speeding day and night up to 80 mph on Mill Road.
Trucks are speeding so fast that when they hit a pothole it shakes my house foundation possibly compromising the structure. NCPD was called on quite a few occasions but did nothing. The noise level is a whopping 60 to 70Db indoors. !
The village speed limit is clearly 30mph
but because of this loop traffic light system it's allowing the cars and trucks to build up speed with no regard to the residents on both sides.
NCPD and Nassau county traffic dept. needs to correct this problem as soon as possible. The Mill Road Residents deserve a better quality of life then this with the high Taxes is that we are funding the county and the Village with.
