Damaged gurad rail Acknowledged268 Adams Road Greenfield, Massachusetts, 01301 - Town of GreenfieldA vehicle, presumably a Town plow, crashed into the fire hydrant and guard rail. I reported the hydrant and the town picked it up and placed a cone. I didn’t realize the gurad rail had been hit and damaged until after I reported the hydrant issue. This report conecrns the guard rail. The final support is pushed out of position and loose. The guradrail is loose. The 'shock' pad on the second support is also damaged/torn.

Other Archived268 Adams Rd Greenfield, Massachusetts - Town of GreenfieldIf it hasn't been prviously reported, someone hit the guardrail, hard, next to the hydrant at 268 Adams Rd., west side of the street. It is bent in such a fashion that it would be dangerous for the next person who might hit it. This is a bad curve that sees frequent accidents in the winter involving traffic driving south on Adams Rd., due to high speed, the sudden, descending curve, and being a section of the road that rarely gets sun, and is often icy.
