From the Liquor Locker to Tonno along Main Street, many of the lights in the trees are out In these depressing times it seems that having these lights fully functional for the holidays and for the survival of our restaurants and merchants is critical In addition, the mayor has her walk on Main Street on the 29th and she is likely to get an earful about many of the lights not working Please have a look when it gets dark You will see which ones need help It should not take long to get them up and running Please let me know if I can be of any help Thanks!!! The lights in the trees are out from CVS to Larson’s shoes on Main Street. I know that they short out and need the reset button pushed regularly and we can maybe address that going forward. But for now with the holiday shopping season and winter upon us it is critical to do what it takes to keep them on! At this point imagine Main Street without them! Tree lights out in front of Bankgloucester.

Please repair the lights in the trees in front of Bankgloucester on Main Street. The final block party is coming up and having them lighted would be a real positive. Thanks.

Just met with the good folks at McPherson Park and they are pretty upset that this crosswalk has not been painted. Can you guys put this on you list for the near future please? Thanks. Ken Hecht.

Steve Noble reports that there is a ground fault in the light pole driving 3 of the trees which have been decorated in front of the police station. This is a request for the city electrician to correct the ground fault so that the installed lights in the trees work. Thank you! Ken.

Antoinnette of generous gardeners ask me to report that the lighting surrounding the fisherman statue is missing or not working. She is concerned with the schooner festival that there will be no lighting around the fisherman statue with all of the activity. Could you just let me know what is happening and I will report back to Antoinnette? Thank you

Please remove the blue sand storage unit in front of the police station. It will help in our efforts to beautify Main Street. Thank you.

Some deteriorated handrails on Boulevard between Fishermans Statue and bridge. Concerned about public safety not total replacement which I know is not in the cards. Some quality black tape may work short term as has been done before. Lots of chatter on this on Facebook.

Please install a stop sign on Church Street at Prospect Street. None exists now.
