Neighbors have removed branches hanging over the path and piled for pickup at Monte Vista Ave, however the trunk is leaning on fence and another willow is split high up with a branch hanging down--that should be removed for safety but too high for volunteers to reach

Hazardous tree condition in Glen Echo Park, northwest corner adjacent to 4020 Panama Court-report by arborist will be forwarded which cites large box elder tree with heart rot in trunk and large branches overhanging sidewalk and park walkway. APN 12-935-10

The green waste pile is on the South side of Monte Vista (between #89 and 109, parcel APN 12-935-59-9) - created by volunteers pruning in Glen Echo Park, NOT illegally dumped.

An oak tree broke and fell across Glen Echo Creek during the storm 2/2/19, and was called to the emergency Public Works line due to risk of flooding. PWA responders on 2/3 viewed the site and told a neighbor that "it could wait for tomorrow" so there may be a pending Work Order by the Tree Section that does not appear in SeeClickFix. The tree is still there, crushing or bending several trees in the park on the west side of the creek. The tree base is located east of the creek but still within the park parcel APN 12-935-8 north of Monte Vista

Glen Echo Park north of Monte Vista - there is a yellowjacket nest behind the trash/recycling cans.The area is flagged with pink survey tape along the walkway but there is a lot of leaf litter making it impossible to see the exact nest opening without arousing the wasps.

Glen Echo Park APN 12-935-59-9 (no street number), a large oak tree fell in 2017 and has been left in the floodplain.2 large branches need removal-they arch over 6' tall and children and adults sometimes climb on them, creating attractive nuisance.l

Original WO from 2015 was closed in error, on 6/11/18 Tree Section said would re-open and get it done in 30 days.
