There are two storm drains clogged with debris and grass growth. Drains are on Wilmington Island Road just 30 feet from Johnny Mercer Boulevard. One sits on the Wells Fargo Bank side and the other sits on the Islander Bar/Restaurant side. Appreciate all your TEAM CHATHAM does for Chatham County.

It is my privilege to drive Bryan Woods Road every day to/from work in downtown Savannah. Every evening, I observe the cat tails trying to grow in the ditch on the west side of the road by the nature preserve. When the grass gets mowed, the cat tails get mowed down. These are lovely native plants that grow throughout Chatham County in low lying areas. They add beauty on the side of an otherwise dull road. Would it be too much to ask that your excellent mowing crew allow the cat tails to grow and prosper in the area along Bryan Woods Road? Actually, the ground remains fairly wet most of the time and mowers would be well advised to avoid "the ditch" where the cat tails grow. I would so much like to see them grow, mature and produce the lovely "cat tails" they are named for. Thank you.
  • Drainage Problem Acknowledged
North Cromwell At Deerwood Road Savannah, Georgia - Wilmington Island
Apparently there is a water line leaking issue because there is ALWAYS a standing pool of water at this intersection. During rainy periods, the water covers the ENTIRE intersection. This is a ridiculous that neither Chatham County or the City of Savannah have not fixed the problem depending on whose problem it is. The road is in the county while the water line may come under the authority of the City.
