    Hey there, the owners in this building would like to have a tree planted in front of it.

    A few features of the area that might help with species selection:

    - This could be a hot area as it's at an intersection and there's not much green space around.
    - There are no power lines directly overhead, though there are some nearby

    If requests can be made, we'd be interested in ginkgo, linden, american redbud, or fringetree please.

    Hey Folks, this serviceberry didn't make it through last summer/winter. Could it please be replaced by something that is really wind and heat tolerant (it's surrounded by asphalt by 40'+ in every direction)?

    Small side request, a couple of the younger trees on the street had their bags removed last fall (thanks Italian Fest...) and could use new/additional ones please.

    Two men just left a mattress on the sidewalk on Maccarelli Way. My neighbor yelled out the window to tell them not to dump it in our neighborhood so they walked across the parking lot and left it just out of sight. There’s video footage if you are interested. Please contact me directly for it.

    Would you please plant a new tree on the corner of Macarelli Way and Warren St? The previous one was run over by a truck taking the corner at too sharp an angle and has now been gone for months. It may make sense to try and avoid that by elongating the tree plot and planting something a couple more feet back from the corner.

    Hey There,

    When turning from O'Brien Highway onto Cambridge Street (heading NW to pass the old Lechmere station) I noticed that the traffic light arrows to turn left were out of sync. One turned yellow and then red before the others. Could be a bad situation. Would someone please look into this?

    Twice now this year I've watched large trailer trucks turn onto and get stuck on Warren Street. The last one took out a small tree on the corner of Macarelli Way, knocked over a sign, and hit a building. Today another one hit a large branch on a tree and had to back out onto Cambridge Street with the help of neighbors.

    With all the construction in the area, there really needs to be clearer signage for trailer trucks to not come this way. The street is simply not wide enough and all of this traffic is causing damage to the neighborhood - beyond just the road conditions.

    Hey Folks,

    Sadly, the tree directly across the street from 16 Warren St. has been looking unhealthy this season and the last. It lost all of its leaves on the early-side last year. This year it has a number of dead branches, the leaves are changing colors early, and it has suckers coming out of the base of the trunk as well as higher up in the crown. Would someone please take a look and see what should be done?

    This tree is askew though as of recently, it was fine. I'm guessing it may have been hit by a vehicle or blown that way by the wind. Is this something that the city tree service can address before it gets worse please?

    Warren St. has increasingly become a popular spot for idling trucks early in the morning. On any number of week days (especially) trash trucks idle in the first few street parking spots on the right-hand side of the street and test their compactors or run other equipment. Other commercial trucks have done similarly in recent weeks. This typically takes place between 5 and 8am and is extremely loud.

    As this is a residential neighborhood, I ask that the city set up an idle or standing-free zone along Warren St. during the morning hours to prevent this disruptive behavior from happening.

    At the corner of Cardinal Medeiros and Cambridge St., just outside of the Church Property, there's an empty tree well. Would you please plant something there? It's a spot that get a lot of shade from existing trees and also tends to be a very windy area - hope that helps in terms of selecting a variety of tree!

    Hey Folks,

    There's a great spot for a new tree well and tree in front of 15 Warren St., directly across the street from Parise Cleaners. This area is below power lines and is completely surrounded by asphalt. A tree that's on the shorter-side, with a wide canopy to provide shade, and wind-resilient would be excellent.
