18 Green St Albany, NY 12207, USA - Albany
this sidewalk cover has been a danger for years now and nobody has attempted to repair it. now with the snow and ice it's barely noticeable. if anybody steps here there is no way it would hold their weight.

this hasn't been touched since snow began Monday 1/15/24. all other sidewalks are clear. I have to wall this sidewalk multiple times per day. this on top of the broken grate now being covered. will post a separate SCF.

I realize snow emergency supercedes regular parking rules, but there is a vehicle parked behind the crosswalk in the middle of the road at the entrance to the Park, Henry Johnson @ State.

due to construction here the sidewalks have been ripped up (fine) but they've covered them with thin wooden planks that are rain soaked and about to cave in under the weight under the next person who walks on them. this is NOT sAfe for pedestrians or the city will have injured pedestrians.

just witnessed a motorbike speed up willet the wrong direction (on purpose) with cars on the street. turned around dramatically to "pop a wheelie" for his friends, and then ride off across the grass of Washington Park. not only does this destroy our green space, but makes it unsafe for those of us who enjoy using the park legally.

special bonus points for driving the wrong way down a one way street. with all of the SCF posts about this issue one would think the city would crack down - but alas, walkways over the highway take presidence. stay safe out there Albany, even our parks aren't safe in daylight.

I'd obviously call police had I license plate information but maybe, just maybe, they can start patrolling the area.

as if parking around center sq. is not bad enough, just there a reason the city decided to remove five spots here in the park, forcing residentd to potentially park in farther and dangerous areas. please return these spots, or is this a ploy to gain ticket revenue?
