FEMA Floodplain Archived4519 Speedwell Ct Ellicott City, MD, 21042, USA - Ellicott CitySince the stream restoration project on the unnamed tributary to the Plum Tree Branch directly behind Northfield Elementary School was completed water has drained/stood much more slowly than before the project. Water pretty much stands continuously from rain event to rain event. If something isn't done to make the water drain faster and more completely into the stream the trees adjacent to the stream are going to drown. See the link for more pictures and a short video.

Don't know if HOCO is involved here or not. There seems to be a beaver in the pond on the Forest Hill and Swim Club property directly adjacent to the unnamed tributary to the Plum Tree Branch that is directly behind Northfield Ellementary School. I have also notified FHSTC. Follow this link for more pictures of the trees already taken down.
