The Mentmore neighborhood needs to be plowed when it snows. There is an elementary school at the end of our neighborhood and we get a lot of traffic driving back-and-forth and it is not safe. The cold temperatures mixed with all of the traffic creates black ice. My seven-year-old slipped and fell on ice trying to walk to school this morning and hit his head and banged up and bloodied his legs and was not able to attend school because of the ice problem in our neighborhood. if you look at my driveway compared to the street, you can see it’s completely dry, all it takes is a plow to remove it once. The rest of the city has fairly decent and clear roads but for some reason the Mentmore neighborhood is never plowed. It’s not safe, especially considering everybody dropping their kids off at school.

We live at the end of Jeff King Street next to Turpen elementary, so on windy days we get the whole neighborhood’s trash. I filled up an entire Herbie with leaves and trash from the neighborhood today but I barely even made a dent. Can somebody come help clean up trash that’s not on our property but looks like it is? Also the street sweeper turns before he gets to our house so our curb is always piled with dirt and trash, while the rest of the neighborhood is nice and clean. Could the street sweeper please continue until the street ends?

There is a dead cow in the ditch on Sanostee across from the old soccer fields. I hit a coyote this morning that was running away from it and saw another coyote there an hour later.

We’ve had yellowish brown water for the past few days!

Per my previous request, here’s a picture of the sweeper tracks so you can see where he turns instead of continuing straight to get the debris in front of my house.

Jeff King Street ends in front of our house. The entire neighborhood’s weeds, dirt, and garbage piles up directly in front of our house. The Street sweeper comes a few times a year and always turns before he gets to our house, because the street ends there. Is there any way the street sweeper could continue going forward all the way to the end of the street and clean up some of this debris? I spent hours yesterday raking and shoveling dirt and weeds away from my house since the sweeper was in my neighborhood and even with me standing out there waving him forward he turned and completely missed it again.

My tap water is brown again. In toilets, bathtubs, and sinks. Is it safe to drink and/or use for cooking? This happens pretty often, is there a way to stop it from happening?

The water coming out of our taps is yellowish brown. This is a clean white bowl with water from the tap at 8:19 pm on Friday.

Jeff King Street comes to an end in front of my house. Because the street doesn't continue on, neighbors and staff at Tobe Turpen Elementary use it as a parking lot. Several of our neighbors have 5 or more cars and use this section of the street as additional parking. I have five kids and the constant come and go of cars parked there is dangerous and a nuisance to me as a homeowner. It's not a parking lot. I would like no parking signs posted to ensure the safety of my property and family.
