Low 'Training' aircraft over South Rock Creek between 0600h - 0700h this morning. (And most mornings) These are not business jets, these are recreational pilot flights early In he morning and NOT abiding by the "fly quiet" published flight pattern. (There is an ordinance for construction and garbage trucks!) As a military and commercial pilot I am well aware of process and procedures. The Rocky Mnt Regional Airport management does not want to do anything about the noise issue. They do not follow up on the on-line reports. They do not return calls, and if you get them to answer, they hang up. (Actual events) These aircraft are low and slow. The noise is unbearable and the safety risk is real. One of those small training aircraft, being piloted by students and low-time instructors who are trying to build time to get an advanced flight job, are a real safety issue. An engine failure or even stall, will have the aircraft going down in a heavily populated residential area. The published "Fly Quiet" pattern keeps them closer to the airfield and over the open space. This issue has gotten progressively worse and needs to be addressed. (Photo taken from my back deck)
