Kids Playing Frogger across Jordan Ln and Bob Wallace Ave before and after school!!!!
I enjoy the fact that I was able to witness common sense and smart drivers, HOWEVER, I honestly don't think it's really safe for the children to have to cross Jordan and Bob Wallace in the morning and after school without a crossing guard.
I know as a fact that cars that get a green arrow get it at the same time the walkers get a sign to cross.
That alone is a massive issue, and when ya have kids by themselves, it makes for a death just waiting to happen.
I get it...not all of you have kids..
..but I assure you that they are just as important as you or I.

If I need to talk to my boss and make it so I can have the time off to do it myself, I have no issue in it.
But if someone else in the community has the spare time in the morning and again around 3:00pm, I will be more than glad to give you a green vest and some Gatorades.

Just let me know if anyone is interested, seeing that the city doesn't see fit to ensure that our community has proper crossing for kids.

    Pavilion missing in city park.
The sun beats down on the metal tables and makes it so citizens feel obligated to move them into the shade and not return them to the pads.
As seen in most all other parks with playgrounds, a pavilion would be a more than welcomed addition to our communities park.
Fixing this issue would help the safety of our families.

Every weekend that I go downtown with my family, there is always some fool parking on the bikeway.

Today this creap sat the two hours we were there and just watched everyone like some sort of stalker.
    This happens A LOT.

Please put this location on the cops driving route to be checked every couple hours, as this is creapy.

With all parking spaces open for free on the weekends, there is no reason for this to be happening.

Old residential carpet is very much needed to be placed between the playground and the pavilion.
Laid over the top of eroding soil and grass seed under it, carpet holds the land from washing away.

There are many places in all towns that have this issue, but fail to resolve it in a manner that will last the test of time.

As I drive down south parkway, I can't help but notice that the builders did not place the side walls to our yet to be finished over passes.
Some squares have 1/4" inch gaps and others have 2"+ gaps.
I personally talked with the contractors at Reed and Alabama DOT about this and was told it's not my business.
My taxes spent on my city roads that I drive is my business and everyone else's too.

The inspection departments have constantly been passing phases and looking away at the issues that desperately need to be addressed.

The farther along the job gets, the more it will cost in time and money to fix.

Our overpasses should not be thrown together as they have been and this issue needs to be handled.

If it is not handled, then I will take the 300+ photos and recordings of calls I've made to a class action lawyer and file a lawsuit all parties involved in will never forget.

Reed should be fined and kicked off of city public work projects of they are not going to a quality job.

Every election season we have to deal with the signs in violation of our clean cities codes.

It's sad to see that we are voting into office people that opely disrespect our laws and our clean city.

Not only are the signs a known distraction to divers, it's put in places to get drivers attention off of the roads and into the mindset of politics and not driving.
Seeing them bothers me and distracts my own driving.

They are an eyesore and all in violation should be fined as any other person littering would be.

The income that would be generated from the fines from election campaign signs and the others that do the same is an amount that the city could use.

How about we enforce the fines and generate some income at the same time sending a message we want our city kept clean and get the signs removed??
