    Hi! Two issues here. This is the site of a bus stop bench that disappeared and was never replaced. Now people have started to dump trash there. The latest trash is a mattress.
    I understand the town has stopped bulky item pick up but I hope that cleaning this up and reinstalling the bench can be at the top of the list when operations start again. It’s not a big problem now but trash piles beget more trash....you know the rest!

    Old DURHAM Road has been closed east of White Oak since yesterday afternoon due to downed power lines and trees. I don’t see it on the list of road closures. The street is blocked by barrels but there are no danger, detour or road closed signage. Cars have to turn around and drive back to Lakeview to detour. This is in DURHAM County but in the town limits of Chapel Hill.
