    This is my mailbox. Each week I cut grass and trim around the post. It is occasionally graced with some type of modest seasonal planting. Buttercups in early spring. Some brightly colored annual in summer. Something to give a little cheer to the mail carrier or those who pass by. Recently I was nurturing a Clematis vine. It had twined itself almost to the bottom of the mailbox. During a recent spraying program your worker apparently assessed the area and deemed it overgrown. They sprayed weed killer around my box decimating all the vegetation. I am very unhappy with the results.

    This week my wife and daughter were driving to work down Green Mnt Rd. Near the bottom on the concrete portion of the road there was a cement mixer truck coming up followed by a commercial HVAC service truck. The HVAC truck passed the mixer in the face of downhill traffic. My daughter had to come to a complete stop with traffic behind her backing up. They continue to build houses here without regard for the inadequate road. They let cyclist use the road which results in uphill traffic again to pass in no passing zones. When they close Cecil Ashburn it will be really bad. Does some one have to die on this road to get something done?
