    The yellow paint on the fire hydrant on the cup de sac island hasn’t been painted for many, if not all, of the 16 years I’ve lived in this house. Also not sure if it’s been tested in recent years. Would like to know it will work should we need it.

    The 65-year old sycamore tree the city owns has a large branch hanging over my house. I’m afraid it will fall and damage my roof. If the city could remove this one branch and trim the branches on the trunk of the tree further up, like it did on my neighbor’s sycamore, I wouldn’t be on edge every time the wind blows.

    Avondale between Middlebelt and Inkster Road is a minefield of potholes. I have actually altered my driving route to get to Inkster Road going south due to the UNFILLED potholes. I’m hoping they’ve not been filled because the road is going to be paved this summer. Please tell me I’m right.
