Street light between 1000 and 1002 Red Harvest Road appears to be out. On Monday it was going on and off intermittently, but as of yesterday was dark constantly.

Very low hanging utility wires of some kind, nearly touching the ground. Note, system would not let me specify the exact location as it needed a house address. There is no house at that section of road. I selected one nearby.

    Reference Reports # 10028823 and 9857588.

We have now had no yard waste collection the last 2 weeks. Prior issues have been closed with, "Please accept our apology for the delayed collections."

Your apology is not accepted at this time. Please get your people out her today to clean up this stuff that has been sitting here for weeks. This is totally unacceptable service.

Friday yard waste pickup has been missed week after week for several months. It is normally picked up on Saturday. This week it was not. As a member of the Board for the Courts of Four Seasons HOA, I am asking that the county find out why our yard waste pickup has been so poor, and this week not at all. We require our homeowners to put trash out after 5PM on Thursdays and to bring empty cans back in the next day, the same as county code. However, if the county doesn't do its job and pick stuff up, it sits out there longer. This weekend they have been rained on, so when they finally pick up those soggy bags and they tear open, I hope the collectors are prepared to clean up the mess.

This is not my first complaint about this issue.

Yard waste has not been picked up on our normal trash day (Friday) for 3 straight weeks. It has been picked up the next day instead. Has our yard waste pickup day changed without us being notified?

Not a carcass, but what appears to be a very sickly raccoon that has been laying in our front yard for the better part of an hour or more. Animal Control disclaims responsibility and MD Natural Resources said they have nobody available. Can anyone come capture this animal and figure out if it needs to be put down or released elsewhere.

In Long Term Lot A, in the section with poles labeled X1, X2, and X3, there is currently only one car parked there. As I have driven past that lot every weekday for work, I have noticed that particular car has not moved in well over 1 year. I have no idea if that is an issue or not, but it seems strange to me so I thought I should report it.

Possible reasons could be varied as to why it has been ther so long:
    1) Car was stolen and abandoned there.
    2) Owner died and family never located where vehicle was.
    3) Owner took overseas job and plans to claim lost ticket upon return, thereby gaining very cheap auto storage in the meantime.
    4) Who knows what else?

Anyway, I reported this directly to the airport some 6 months ago, but I don't think they ever checked on it. Since it is the only car in that section of the lot right now, I figured it is a good time to report here since it is easily found.

As noted in request #7409259, the poles at this intersection serve absolutely no purpose other than to make turning more difficult. Parking at that corner is already illegal due to the fire hydrant located there. So, why does A.A. county continue to insist on putting poles in a location that are likely to cause accidents rather than preventing any problem. Please at least explain why they are there if they are going to remain. What problem are they solving?

What is the purpose of the 3 poles that were placed on Dairy Farm, right where cars turn in from Waugh Chapel Road? It can't be for parking reasons, as there is a fire hydrant there making parking illegal anyway. All those poles do, as far as I can tell, is make the turn from either direction of Waugh Chapel more difficult. They've been knocked down at least once, and I predict they will continue to be knocked down. Please just remove them.

On New Cut Road, in both directions approaching Gambrills Road, there are blue informational signs pointing to J. Kings restaurant. That has been closed for more than a year. In fact, it's been torn down and replaced by a new business. Not an urgent request by any means, but those signs should be removed.

Some time ago, the signal at this intersection was altered to allow a left turn arrow from MD 175 onto Dairy Farm Road. Thank-you for that.

Now, cars waiting on Dairy Farm to turn right on red onto 175 have no idea when the light is about to change to allow traffic to proceed along 175. There have been several near miss accidents that I have witnessed, where a car turns right on red thinking the cars are being held because of the left turn arrow, but the light changed just as they went to turn right.

Can a right turn arrow be put on the Dairy Farm Road part of that light, in sync with the left turn arrow from 175, so that cars turning right know the status and whether it is safe to actually pull out and make the right turn?

For years, water has accumulated in front of our driveway due to improper grading when the road was built some 25 years ago. We are constantly trying to avoid scraping the bottom of our cars getting into our driveway. Now, we are in the process of having a 3rd radiator replaced due to damage simply getting into our driveway. Past contacts with AA County have resulted in no action. What do I have to do to get this fixed once and for all?

Speed limit is posted on Gambrills Road from Annapolis Road to Dicus Mill road as 30mph except for some curve speed limits.

Coming from Dicus Mill Road toward Annapolis Road the speed limit is also 30mph, except for a very small section of road opposite the strip shopping center (former Kaufman's/J. Kings and others), where the speed limit drops to 25mph.

Can anyone explain why the speed limit is different for the two travel directions on the same stretch of road? Is this merely intended to be a speed trap?
