Native Huntsvillian

My elderly mother lives at 6316 Whitesburg Drive (next door to the North). This has been an ongoing problem with this neighbor who for some reason refuses to cut his backyard until forced to do so by the city. This is the third time I have reported this issue in less than 2 years. There was no response to the first complaint. The homeowner at 6320 did finally cut his grass after the 2nd complaint was processed by Community Development last summer, but not until the last minute. Please help ! Thank you.

All of Clinton Avenue between Five Points and the Post Office is in HORRIBLE condition. Potholes, Cut-Ins, Poor Patches, etc... Seriously, it's like what we might expect driving on a road in Mosul, Iraq and not in the United States of America. The City of Huntsville seems to have gazillions to give away to developers for trendy downtown development but can't afford to provide decent roads to the citizens ? I know the routine, it will be closed with a message to call the City Department about scheduled repaving jobs, where the guy is *never in* so leave a voicemail. The roads throughout 35801 are beat to HE11 and in desperate need of repaving NOT PATCHING.... Do something please!
