    I would like to know what is going on with the increase in homicides that is happening in Hamden. A couple of weeks ago there was a murder on Whiting st right down the street from my house and last night there was another murder at the Hess gas station on Dixwell avenue. We own two homes in Hamden my mother and siblings is in one and me and my family is in the other if we didnt own I would move it is not safe here anymore we have been here since 1996 something has to change

    The side walks are in need of repairs nothing has been done people park on the sidewalks on both sides of the street you have cars flying up and down the street constantly andI am afraid a child is going tonget hit we need speed bumps where are my tax dollars going

    This morning 6:25am my daughter goes out to her car and noticed her convertable top was cut open and someone broke into her car police was called and a report was filed and the officer instructed my daughter to take everything out and leave the doors unlocked. What I dont understand is why no finger prints was taken so there is no interest in finding out who did this so when she leaves her doors unlocked and they steal her radio will Hamden police department take responsibility for that? Of course not then they will say you should have locked your doors. If I wasnt a homeowner I would move off of this street and out of Hamden so fast it is so unsafe and nothing at all is being done nothing no one seems to care
