I chose town hall for this suggestion. I appreciate the pedestrian light changes in town and find them VERY effective.

however, for a "pedestrian-friendly town, it seems the town has given up on maintaining sidewalks. MANY are cracked and in disrepair. Homeowners do not maintain or clear their sidewalks. There ought to be citations or warnings.

Also, for a town that seems to have unlimited funds for certain projects and newly-hired positions, it does not take care of the LEAVES that are a consequence of our beautiful tree canopy!! A rich town like Davidson should have a leaf removal service. It is simply not optional.

the leaves are once again accumulating along this property covering the sewer grate and making driving, cycling and walking hazardous. I saw a car slide through the stop sign carrying slimy leaves with it.

several times there has been a hose attached to this faucet that goes ACROSS the sidewalk. Once at twilight I suffered a fall since it is elevated about 6 inches. Today, a gentleman passing by in front of me removed the hose and tossed it across the sidewalk to prevent an accident.

This construction site often has vehicles blocking the sidewalk.

    It is not well supervised!!

the mud is back every time it rains. There are two large drains from this house that empty onto the sidewalk. This is an issue that must be resolved at the source.

there is always water on this sidewalk. perhaps from the fire hydrant?

there is much mud making for dangerous conditions on the sidewalk along the front of this property. There is a drainage pipe that empties onto the sidewalk and it is always wet.

several times when I pass this house while walking my dogs I am very aware of the smell of natural GAS. I have not sought a precise location. The smell is quite strong from the sidewalk and smells of propane.
